Wrangles have continued to rock Kenyan football, the latest case pitting FKF Chairman Sam Nyawea, FKF Vice Chairman Sammy Sholei and Nairobi Branch Chairman Dr Dan Shikanda has threatened to throw Kenyan football to the dogs.
This has attracted the attention of Ex Harambee stars players, goal keeper Mohamoud Abbas, defenders Tobias Ocholla and John Sunguti.
The three have called on FKF Chairman Sam Nyawea to resolve the matter fast in order to save Kenyan football.
Speaking at the Nyayo national stadium gymnasium, Abbas said that however big the issue is the three should seat down and dialogue.
He further added that it’s unfortunate that Sholei and Shikanda went ahead and took the matter to court which was no way to resolve issue.
Abbas also asked the government not interfere with the matter to avoid a punishment from world governing body FIFA.
His strong sentiments were echoed by Tobias Ocholla who said that the best way for the federation to avert such kind issues, is to consult one another before making key football decisions.
Since coming to office Sholei and Nyawea have differed on opinion on how the office should run while his counterpart Shikanda has opposed the new constitution citing that it has vested too much power on the national office and sidelined grassroot football where most talent is found.
